Team National Staff Helps the Humane Society of Broward County

Team National Staff Helps the Humane Society of Broward County
On September 7, just before the arrival of Hurricane Irma in South Florida, the Team National Hope Foundation received an urgent request for help from one of our longtime Charities of Choice, the Humane Society of Broward County. Because of our close partnership with HSBC, TN Hope was one of the first calls they made when looking for help transporting their animals to a safe location ahead of the storm.

Our staff did not disappoint and rallied to the call for help. Sixteen staff members all got up well before sunrise to arrive at the shelter at 4 am, including our President & CEO, Angela Chrysler and Executive Vice President, Phil Chrysler. They brought their vehicles and helped transport 176 adoptable dogs and cats to a partner shelter in California. Angela and Phil’s cars were filled to the brim with adoptable cats from the shelter!

We got all the animals loaded safely onto their flight thanks to Wings of Rescue. Wings of Rescue pilots donate their time and planes to get these shelter animals off to their new homes and safer shelters without a hitch.

Here at our offices, we enjoy serving just as much as donating and whether its children, families, or animals in need, Team National Hope Foundation and Team National Staff members are always ready to jump in and help!

Please enjoy the photo album below showing some of the animals we were able to assist:
